WRLL Opening Day ceremonies set for SaturdayOpening Day for White Rock Little League will be held Saturday at Byers Field in White Rock.WRLL team photos will be taken starting at 9 a.m., and Opening Day ceremonies will start at 11 a.m.Three exhibition baseball games will be played Saturday at Byers Field and a softball exhibition will be held at Minors A Field starting at 11:30 a.m.The public is invited to attend. Concessions will be available at the ceremony.

LALL to hold Opening Day May 3

Los Alamos Little League Opening Day will be held May 3 at Lou Caveglia Field.Opening Day ceremonies will start at 1 p.m. Home Run Pizza and Baskin Robbins will be on-hand, and the league’s concession stand will also be open.There will be a drawing for a bicycle courtesy of Caballo Bikes.

Hershey meet will be held at Sullivan Field Saturday

The local Hershey Track and Field Meet will be held Saturday at Sullivan Field.The meet is scheduled to start at 9 a.m. and will continue until approximately 1 p.m.More than 50 kids between 9-14 are expected to compete Saturday. Athletes could qualify for the state meet, to be held in Roswell during the summer, and those may qualify for the national meet in Hershey, Pa.Volunteers are being sought to help time running events.
