Golf course closed, pro shop on shortened schedule
Los Alamos Golf Course announced Monday it will shut down play for the season.
Snowfall from Friday’s storm will close the course for play. Additionally, the LAGC pro shop will operate on an abbreviated schedule until Friday.
The pro shop hours will be from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. for the remainder of the week and will be closed Saturday and Sunday.

Final Christmas lights run is Wednesday
The Los Alamos Triatomics multi-sport club will host its final Christmas Light Run Wednesday night.
The run will start at the San Ildefonso Road roundabout. The non-competitive run is 5.75 miles and starts promptly at 6:15 p.m. The run is free and anyone interested is invited to attend.

Lobos hosting baseball camps
The University of New Mexico is hosting a series of five Lobo baseball winter and spring training camps.
Camps will provide instruction for youth players from ages 6-18. Camps will be geared toward exposing players to fundamentals and techniques of hitting, pitching, catching and defense. All sessions will be supervised by Lobo baseball coaching staff members.
Registration is currently open for all five camps.
