Annual Green-Gold hoops set for Friday

The Los Alamos Hilltopper boys and girls basketball programs will host their annual Green-Gold Scrimmage Friday.
The Green-Gold is scheduled for 6 p.m. Friday. The event will include an intrasquad scrimmage, introductions of the varsities, junior varsities, C teams and coaching staffs and will feature the Jr. ‘Topper program.
Free “LA” face-painting is available, courtesy of the Hilltopper cheerleaders, and a half-court shot challenge will be held.
Season passes for Hilltopper basketball will also be on sale at the event. Passes will go for $30 each.

Turkey Trot is Sunday
 

The CROP organization and the Atomic City Roadrunners will host the 2010 Turkey Trot Nov. 21.
The Turkey Trot, a 2.57-mile race, will start at Los Alamos Middle School. Race time is 2 p.m.
All participants will have a chance to win turkeys and pumpkin pies in a random drawing.
