Rugby match is Saturday

The Los Alamos boys rugby team will host a home match Saturday.
The match is scheduled for 1 p.m. at Sullivan Field. Admission is free.
Los Alamos is going into the match, against St. Pius X, off a 22-7 victory over Las Cruces. Mateo Cardiel, Isaac Koh and McKay Parkinson scored tris in the match and Parkinson also had a conversion.

Roadrunners’ season starts April 3

The Atomic City Roadrunners running club will open its 2012 Pace Race season April 3.
The Roadrunners’ first race of the season will be at Canyon Rim Trail. Race time is 6 p.m.
The Atomic City Roadrunners races every Tuesday during Daylight Savings Time. Participants in the club’s weekly Pace Races predict their finishing times on the 1- and 3-mile courses. Race winners are those who come closest to their predicted times.
The club’s season dues are $20 for individuals and $30 for families.

Sr. Olympics registration open

Registration for the Los Alamos Senior Olympic Games will be open through Saturday.
All interested men and women aged 50-plus make take part in the local Senior Olympic Games. There are 23 different traditional and non-traditional competitions to choose from.
Interested participants can register at the Family YMCA of Los Alamos. Price for participation is $20.

LALL sign-ups close Friday

Registration for Los Alamos Little League baseball and softball is open through Friday.
LALL is for youth ages 4 to 16 who live within the LALL boundaries.
