D-backs’ Rodin to speak tonight in White Rock
White Rock Little League will host a presentation by Arizona Diamondbacks’ director of baseball outreach and development, Jeff Rodin, tonight.
The presentation will be held at Chamisa Elementary School’s library from 6-8:30 p.m. Managers, coaches and interested parents are invited to attend.
The presentation will focus on coaching youth sports, particularly baseball and softball, the Diamondbacks’ way.

LALL registration open, spring training starting
Los Alamos Little League’s spring training for its Majors division will be starting later this week.
Spring training sessions are scheduled for Saturday and Monday. Saturday’s session will be from 10 a.m.-noon and Monday’s from 5 p.m.-7 p.m. at the Majors field on North Mesa. Those interested in playing Majors baseball are encouraged to attend the spring training sessions in preparation for tryouts, which are scheduled for March 17 and 19.

Run for Her Life 5K is March 20
The first Run for Her Life 5K and 10K runs will be held March 20.
The races will start at the Mesa Trailhead near East Park. Racing starts at 9 a.m.
Registration forms are available at several locations around the county and online at www.atomicrunners.com.
Proceeds from the race will go to benefit breast cancer research.

Vote for LAHS, LAMS messiest schools
 Los Alamos High School and Los Alamos Middle School are involved in a “messiest school” contest, the winner of which receives $30,000 in mobile storage equipment.
The vote is being conducted online. Voters can go to www.rockusastorage.com to vote for the schools.
Voters may cast ballots once per day.
