Run for Her Life set for March 20

The first Run for Her Life 5K and 10K runs will be held March 20.
The races will start at the Mesa Trailhead near East Park. Racing starts at 9 a.m.
Registration forms are available at several locations around the county and online at www.atomicrunners.com.
Proceeds from the race will go to benefit breast cancer research.

Y hosting youth volleyball program

Registration for the YMCA’s Diggers youth volleyball program is now open.
Diggers is a recreational volleyball program for kids 8-12 years old. Instruction and limited games will be held twice per week.
The program runs from March 7-April 30. Teams meet in White Rock and Los Alamos.
Price for participation is $32 for YMCA members, $48 for nonmembers. Scholarships may be available through the United Way of Northern New Mexico.
