Sports update 01-23-11

The Los Alamos Hilltopper boys basketball team wants all Hilltopper fans to "Green Out Griffith" Tuesday night.

The Hilltoppers will be playing their arch-rivals, the Española Valley Sundevils, at home Tuesday. Game time is 7 p.m.

Tickets for the Los Alamos-Española Valley game will go on sale at noon at the Griffith Gym box office. There are no re-entry privileges.

Those wishing to purchase green T-shirts may do so at the gym. T-shirts are $15 each.

The Airbender Team of Los Alamos Youth Leadership will hold a sale of 'Topper Shades at upcoming boys and girls basketball games.

Sale of the sunglasses will start at the Jan. 29 girls basketball game.

Price for the shades are $3 a pair or two pairs for $5.

The Airbenders will also randomly select one fan for a chance to win $50.
