Athletic Night is tonight at LAHS

Los Alamos High School will host Athletic Night tonight at the Duane Smith Auditorium.
Athletic Night is for incoming freshmen interested in participating in high school sports for the 2014-15 academic year or for incoming eighth graders interested in trying out for high school programs.
The meeting is set for 6 p.m. Areas of discussion will include summer workout information for fall sports.

Football team serving breakfast Saturday

The Los Alamos Hilltopper football team will host a waffle breakfast Saturday at the Los Alamos Masonic Lodge.
The waffle breakfast will be from 7:30-10:30 a.m. Waffles with fruit, eggs, bacon, sausage and beverage will be served.
Price the breakfast is $7 for adults, $3 for kids 6 and under.
Proceeds will go to benefit the football program.

Track to be closed starting June 5

The Sullivan Field track will be closed from June 5-20, Los Alamos High School announced Friday.
The MONDO track surface will be cleaned and repaired during that time, according to a press release from LAHS.
No field or track users will be allowed onto Sullivan Field during the closure. For more information, call the LAHS athletic office at 663-2531.

Soccer camps will be in Los Alamos, White Rock

The Los Alamos Hilltopper boys soccer program is hosting a camp for boys and girls ages 3-9.
The camp has two sessions. The first is set for June 9-13 at Urban Park and the second is June 16-20 at Rover Park.
Price for participation is $35 for one session or $50 for both sessions. Registration deadline for the first session is June 2.
