Senior Olympics starts March 12

Registration for the local Senior Olympics competition is currently open at the Family YMCA of Los Alamos.
The local Senior Olympic Games are open to any Los Alamos County resident 50 years and older.
Local competition will be between March 12-April 12.
Fee for registration is $20 payable to the YMCA.

Tickets on sale for state wrestling, swimming

The New Mexico Activities Association announced it is currently selling tickets online for the upcoming state wrestling and swimming and diving championships.
Both the state swimming and wrestling events start Friday and continue through Saturday.
The state swim meet will be held on the campus of Albuquerque Academy and the state wrestling tournament will be at the Santa Ana Star Center in Rio Rancho.
Event tickets are being sold at nmaa.ticketleap.com.
Tickets for swimming are $8 for one-day entry, $5 for student and senior one-day entry.
For wrestling, ticket prices are $8 for general admission, $5 for students and seniors and $12 for all-day passes with re-entry privileges.

Isotopes’ job fair is Saturday

The Albuquerque Isotopes and Ovation Foods announced they will be holding their joint job fair for the upcoming Albuquerque Isotopes baseball season.
The job fair is scheduled for Saturday at Isotopes Park. The job fair will run from 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
Anyone interested in game-day, seasonal employment is invited to attend. To expedite the application process, those interested are asked to download an application at abqisotopes.com.
The Isotopes are hiring for positions such as security, cleaning crew, grounds crew and bat boys.
Ovation is hiring beer and food vendors and cooks.
