Softball: Burditt named to All-State team

Los Alamos Hilltopper senior softball player Megan Burditt was named to the Class AAAA All-State second team this season.

Burditt was named to the second team as an outfielder for the 2008 season, the only player from the Hilltoppers to be so honored. She joined St. Pius’ Dominique Padilla and Moriarty’s Jennifer Innecencio as a second team outfielder.

The 2008 selection was the second nod for Burditt, who was named to the All-AAAA team as a center fielder last season.

Burditt will play collegiate softball next season for Western Nebraska.
