• The Charter Review Committee (CRC) and League of Women Voters Los Alamos will host a moderated public forum Wednesday at Fuller Lodge, the first in a series of public forums planned as a part of a comprehensive review of the county’s charter. Light refreshments will be furnished by the LWV at 6:30 p.m. and the public is invited to come early for an informal “chat about the charter.” From 7-9 p.m. the forum will feature informational and educational overviews from several invited guests about the history of the charter, followed by opportunities for the public to give comments to the CRC about changes they would like to see in the Charter. The public will also be able to ask the CRC questions about the process they are using to conduct their review and offer suggestions.

A first meeting to ask questions and submit comments on the county’s draft Economic Vitality Strategic Plan will be held from 5:30-7 p.m. at Fuller Lodge.
