Don’t miss this opportunity to share your best photographs from the last year in Los Alamos Life 2014.

Whether you’re an amateur with a really good eye or a seasoned pro, Los Alamos Life wants your best photos! Get your most striking pictures featured in the next edition of Los Alamos Life set to publish in March 2014.

Los Alamos Life is an award-winning full color, glossy annual magazine that presents a quintessential snapshot of moments in the life of Los Alamos. The magazine is reminiscent of the iconic Life magazine, but it is bolder and more colorful in its presentation.

If a picture is worth a thousand words, then Los Alamos Life says a lot about Los Alamos, its people and what it’s like to live in this majestic mountain hamlet — home of scientific discoveries that have literally changed the world.
Los Alamos Life is looking for photos that will help tell that story ... Nature, wildlife, kids, pets, funny moments from a family gathering, poignant shots of our senior citizens... Photos can include everything from action sports to thought-provoking still life. The more creative you are, the better!

To be considered for inclusion in Los Alamos Life, photos should be sharp, well-composed, high-resolution digital photo files.

You must own the original file, web links and prints will not be accepted. Include a brief description of the photograph along with your name and contact information along with your daytime telephone number.

Should your picture be selected for Los Alamos Life, you will receive photo credit (byline) in the publication, and in exchange you agree to grant one-time publication rights to Los Alamos Publishing Co., and give the Los Alamos Monitor the right to publish your photograph in Los Alamos Life and potentially use the photo for limited promotional purposes.

Each person may submit up to six of their best photos from the past year, but attach only two pictures per email, please. Send your photos today to info@lamonitor.com.

The deadline to submit your photos is midnight Sunday, Dec. 15.
