Sean Gillis, 40, a resident of Los Alamos left this life on Feb. 6 after a short illness.
He was a 1991 graduate of Los Alamos High School. Sean was a master craftsman and built custom log homes, he worked at Pajarito Ski Hill, at the Canyon Bar and Grill and had the gift of gab. He never met a stranger.
He was preceded in death by mother Claire Gillis. He is survived by his wife Larisa and her children Secilli and Alan Keeler; as well as his father and step-mother Bob and Donna Gillis; brother Bob Gillis; sisters: Kelley Baer (Robert), Kathleen Fillmore (Gary) and Mary Lou Edmund (Scott); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many, many friends he considered extended family.
