The Los Alamos School Board will hold a Special Board Meeting at 4 p.m. today in the district boardroom at 751 Trinity Drive.The Special Board Meeting topic is being held to discuss the interview process for the superintendent search with consultant Wesley Lane.The Los Alamos School Board also has scheduled an Executive Session to discuss personnel issues immediately following the 4 p.m. meeting. The board will hold a Special Board Meeting at 6 p.m. Thursday at Chamisa Elementary School.The Special Board Meeting topics include discussion of the ongoing search for a new superintendent to replace retiring superintendent James Anderson, the Trinity Development Project, Policy 5127 regarding graduation requirements and approval of standard Budget Adjustment Requests.A work session is scheduled to follow the school board meeting. Topics for the work session include a report on student input about teachers and the district’s 20-Year Facilities Renewal Plan.With the exception of the Executive Session, the meetings are open to the public.
