Ryan, Heather McNiff win Run For Her Life 5K

The McNiffs were well represented at this weekend’s Run For Her Life 5K and 10K races.
The event, which is a fundraiser for Hadassah’s work in the field of breast cancer research, was Sunday. The races started and finished at East Park.
Ryan McNiff was the big winner in the men’s 5K race. He finished in a time of 18:26, topping Dixon’s Scott Valdez by nearly a minute and a half.
In the women’s 5K race, Heather McNiff was the top finisher. She had a time of 21:35, easily the tops in that race.
Erica Baron (41:06) was the first overall finisher in the long race, while Tad Hughes (48:29) won the men’s competition.
The event was co-sponsored by Hadassah and the Atomic City Roadrunners club.
