Erika Maia Rupprecht, daughter of Ward and Katrina of White Rock and Jacob R. Stupka, son of Richard Stupka and Kay Joseph of White Rock, exchanged wedding vows on May 28, 2011 at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Los Alamos. Rev. Carney officiated the mass and Deacon Alcouffe assisted. A reception honoring the couple was at Delancey Street in San Juan.
Erika’s bridal attendants were: Sandra Moore, sister of the bride and matron of honor; Erin Pearcy, Alayna Rodriguez and Danielle Lattin. The flower girls were Abigail Gonzales and Kayden Bowyer. The groomsmen included Jeffery Peterson, friend of the groom and best man; Dylan Stupka, Stuart Rupprecht and Mike Selwyn. The ring bearer was Thomas Wharton.
Erika is a 2006 Los Alamos High School graduate and New Mexico State University bachelor’s degree recipient in the field of communication studies with a minor in Spanish. She graduated as a Crimson Scholar and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in the same field while employed by N.M.S.U. as a teacher’s assistant.
Jacob is a 2006 Los Alamos High School graduate. He has received a bachelor’s degree in the field of government with minors in public law and Spanish. Jake is currently employed by Vangent in Las Cruces.
The Bride and groom are residing in Las Cruces.
