Bob Weeks predicted his finish time perfectly during Tuesday night’s Pace Race.
This week’s Pace Race was held near Bandelier National Monument on the hills overlooking S-Site. In all, 19 runners and walkers took part.
Weeks, running on the 1-mile course, called his finish time exactly to earn top honors this week. Daniel Romero was off by eight seconds and Ted Romero by 19 seconds on the 3-mile course.
The fastest finisher on the 3-mile course Tuesday was Jamie Jablin, who finished in 20:50. On the 1-mile course, Charlotte Leouard had the best time, finishing in 10:16.
The next Pace Race will be held Tuesday starting at Barranca Mesa Elementary School. Race time is 6 p.m.
