Running: Klimczuk is top predictor this week

Tomasz Klimczuk had the top prediction at Tuesday night’s Atomic City Roadrunners’ pace race.

Tuesday’s pace race was the annual Lollipop Run. Each competitor at the Lollipop Run, is awarded with a hard candy after finishing.

The race took place in Bayo Canyon on a figure 8 course.

Klimczuk, running on the 3-mile course, finished with a prediction error of just 2 seconds, beating out Aaron Goldman who had a good prediction error of just 14 seconds.

On the 1-mile course, Bob Weeks was the top predictor. He had a prediction error of 27 seconds.

On Tuesday’s 3-mile course, Jamie Jablin was the fastest finisher, posting a time of 20:44. Sarah Kratzer was the top female finisher on the long course, crossing in 30:02.

On the 1-mile course, Colin Pedicini was the fastest finisher, posting an 11:07.

The next pace race will be starts near the Larry R. Walkup Aquatic Center. It is scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday.
