Ruby Neil (Simmons) Mills

Mills – Ruby Neil (Simmons) Mills died Feb. 18, 2008, in Cedar Park, Texas. Mrs. Mills was born Jan. 28, 1920, in New Boston, Texas, to Belton and Ora Simmons, the fourth of 13 children. She grew up in New Boston, Texas, and after graduation from high school in 1938, attended Texarkana Business College. She lived for a short time in Fort Worth, Texas, but returned to live in Texarkana. She worked at the Red River Army Depot during WWII and also for the USO. After the war she met her future husband, Charles A. Mills, who also worked at Red River Army Depot as a security guard.
