The purpose of the Diabetes Support Group is to help those dealing with diabetes live with and manage their chronic condition. It also wants to attract people who would like emotional support for living with diabetes, as well as those who would like to learn some strategies for managing diabetes.
The Los Alamos Cooperative Extension Service sponsors this free Diabetes Support Group. Mary Beugelsdijk, Certified Diabetes Educator and Paula Roybal Sánchez, Extension Home Economist provide leadership to the group.
