Dear Editor,The five Romney sons, all of eligible age to serve in the military, made national news when Mitt Romney was asked why none of them had enlisted in the military to serve our nation. Mitt responded, “It’s remarkable how we can show our support for our nation, and one of the ways my sons are showing support for our nation is helping to get me elected!”Yes, the boys bought a Winnebago and were touring the country ... serving their nation. I’m sure that the families of the nearly 4,000 US soldiers killed in Iraq truly appreciated their effort. But Mitt isn’t running anymore! And since Mitt was so “proud” to see his sons “serving” this nation, I assume that all five sons will now enlist in the military and go over to Iraq.Anyone want to buy a Winnebago?John PawlakLos Alamos
