Roads to be closed during Atomic Man

In order to accommodate Sunday's Atomic Man Duathlon, motorists should be aware of the following road closures:

• Sherwood Blvd. between Grand Canyon and Piedra Loop

• Grand Canyon between Sherwood and Cañada Way

The closures will be in effect between 6 a.m.-1 p.m.

Additionally, motorists are asked to use extreme caution on the following roadways during that time, as they are part of the Atomic Man course:

• Piedra Loop and La Senda

• Grand Canyon between Cañada and N.M. 4 to mile marker 51.

Also, the Triatomics, who are sponsoring the Atomic Man Duathlon, will hold a walk-in registration session at Bandelier Grill Saturday from 3-6 p.m.

Race-day registrations will not be accepted.
