A downed power line involved in the Rivera Fire in the Jemez has disrupted power to 40 residences in the Cerra del Pino area. Jemez Mountain Electric is on site.
The Rivera Fire started at 3:35 p.m. Wednesday four miles west of Jemez Springs in Sandoval County. No injuries have been reported.
The fire has burned approximately 10 acres of ponderosa pine and mixed conifer.
No structures are threatened and no evacuations are in place at this time.
