Bill Rice was the top predictor at this week’s Atomic City Roadrunners’ Pace Race.
This week’s Pace Race was Tuesday. It was run at Water Canyon Trail near White Rock.
Rice missed his estimated finish time by 20 seconds Tuesday, topping Tom Sandford, who was 29 seconds off, and Jackie Marr, who was off by 63 seconds.
Marr was the fastest finisher on the 1-mile course Tuesday with her time of 18 minutes, 37 seconds, while Duane Marr finished in 18:44.
There were three course lengths in Water Canyon.
Matt Felton finished the 2-mile course in 13:36 and Roxana Candia finished in 17:39. On the 3-mile course, David Kratzer finished in 27:14 and Karen Thorn came in at 39:31.
The next Pace Race will be Tuesday starting at the junction of San Ildefonso Road and Barranca Road. Race time is 6 p.m.
