Jennifer Reglien was the top predictor at this week’s Atomic City Roadrunners’ Pace Race.
The Pace Race was Tuesday at the Bridges Loop course, held on the trails behind the Larry R. Walkup Aquatic Center.
Reglien missed her predicted finish time by 15 seconds at Tuesday’s race. She was 5 seconds better than Karen Thorn. Mariela Saenz and Paul Elkins were both 48 seconds off their prediction.
The top finisher on the 1-mile course was Rose Nyenhus, who finished in 7 minutes, 28 seconds. Three-year-old Diego Leonard was the fastest male finisher on the 1-mile course with his time of 11:16.
Roxana Candia had the fastest finish on the 3-mile course Tuesday (28:44), while David Kratzer finished in 31:17.
The next Pace Race will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday. The race will start on North Mesa at 1287 San Ildefonso road. There will be both 1- and 3-mile courses and strollers can be used on either course.
