There was a tie for top prediction at this week’s Pace Race.
Duane Marr and Bob Reedy both earned the top prediction at the Pace Race, a weekly event hosted by the Atomic City Roadrunners. Reedy and Marr both finished just 3 seconds off their predicted finish time.
The race was Tuesday on North Mesa.
The fastest finisher on the 1-mile course this week was 3-year-old Diego Leonard, who finished in 11:15. Leonard was also one of the top predictors Tuesday, being just 9 seconds off.
Patricia Burnside was the fastest female on the 1-mile course with her time of 8:04.
On the 3-mile course, Roxana Candia (24:04) and Zach Medin (24:48) had the best finishes this week.
The next Pace Race will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday. The race will start at Canyon Rim trailhead across from the Los Alamos Co-op.
The race will be the Cooper Run and will be the final race of the 2013 Pace Race season.
