Aug. 20 

9:53 a.m. – A 35-year-old Los Alamos man reported someone stole his cement mixer from the construction site on La Bajada Way. The estimated loss is $3,545.

7 p.m. – Patrick Vigil, 35, of Medanales was arrested and charged with possession of marijuana for bringing marijuana into the Los Alamos County Detention Center.

Aug. 21

9:44 p.m. – Los Alamos National Security reported someone stole a computer monitor from an office in TA-9 at Los Alamos National Laboratory. The estimated loss is $1637.09.

11 p.m. – A 32-year-old Albuquerque woman working as a caretaker a residence on Monte Rey Drive reported her purse stolen. The estimated loss is more than $500.

2:22 a.m. – Kyle Smith, 19, of Los Alamos was arrested on 37th Street and charged with the unlawful taking of a motor vehicle from a party at Camp May. The estimated loss is more than $2,500.

Aug. 23

2:51 a.m. – Dominque Kaniatobe, 23, of Santa Fe was arrested and charged with DWI as a result of an investigation into a traffic crash on State Road 4 near White Rock.

Aug. 24       

1:10 a.m. – Pamela Chavez, 19, of Los Alamos was arrested on North Road and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia as the result of police investigating reports of a suspicious vehicle lurking in the vicinity.

4:35 a.m. – Moses Salazar, 23, of Los Alamos was arrested and charged with battery against a household member as a result of an investigation into reports of a domestic disturbance.

6 p.m. – A 43-year-old Los Alamos woman reported the rear window on her car was broken while parked on Trinity Drive. The estimated damage is $500.

Aug. 26

1:30 a.m. – Gus Ferris, 22, of Los Alamos was arrested at 40 Verde Ridge and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.
