August 23

10:34 a.m. –– A 54-year-old Los Alamos man recently filed a complaint with police that someone fraudulently used his credit card. Police are still investigating.

9:04 p.m. ­­­­–– A 46-year-old Los Alamos man was arrested on a magistrate court warrant on N.M. 4.

August 24

2:40 p.m. –– A 48-year-old Los Alamos woman reported to police she was the victim of fraud. The amount taken was between $250 and below $20,000. Police are still investigating.

August 25

10:25 p.m. –– Jason Willis, 32, of Los Alamos was arrested for burglarizing a house, larceny, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance and aggravated driving while intoxicated in the 100 block of Rover Boulevard.

August 26

10:40 a.m. –– Police arrested a Los Alamos juvenile for battery against a household member in the 2000 block of Los Alamos Road. He was referred to juvenile authorities.

9:22 p.m. –– John Ross, 30, of Alcoa, was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated in the 3000 block of Arkansas Avenue.

9:40 p.m. ­­–– Police arrested a male Santa Fe juvenile on a charge of marijuana possession on East Road. He was referred to juvenile authorities.

August 27

9:04 a.m. ––  Kevin Carpenter, 30, of Los Alamos was arrested on a charge of battery in the 3000 block of Alabama Avenue.

10:25 a.m. –– Clinton Green, 26, of Los Alamos, was arrested on a warrant in the 2000 block of Trinity Drive.

9:42 a.m. –– Daniel Romero, 34, of Pojoaque, was arrested on a warrant at the intersection of 39thand Gold Street.

3:19 p.m. –– Quiznos, located in Central Park Square, reported to police that between $250 and $20,000 was taken from the store. The case is still pending.

August 28

8 p.m. –– James Hardesty, 22, of Los Alamos was arrested for driving while intoxicated and possession of drug paraphernalia in the 3000 block of Canyon Road.

8:31 p.m. –– A 27-year-old Los Alamos man reported he was the victim of criminal damage to property. The damage totaled less than $1,000, and occurred in the 300 block of Ridgecrest Avenue. 

August 29

7:32 a.m. –– A 33-year-old Los Alamos woman and a 26-year-old Los Alamos man reported to police she was the victim of criminal damage to property. The damage was less than $1,000, and occurred in the 4000 block of Sycamore Street.

9:56 a.m. –– A 31-year-old Los Alamos woman reported to police her house was burglarized in the 500 block of Oppenheimer Drive.
