Aug. 20

9:39 a.m. — Police reported that an 80-year-old Los Alamos man was the victim of an accident with no injuries on Aztec Avenue.

Aug. 21

8:39 a.m. — Police reported that a 67-year-old Los Alamos man was a victim of criminal damage to property (less than $1,000) at Rover Boulevard.

5:30 p.m. — Fernando Trujillo, 23, of Española was arrested through a district court warrant. The original charge was possession of a controlled substance at N.M. 502 June 17.

9:46 p.m. — A 35-year-old Los Alamos woman reported to police that she was the victim of a larceny (over $500, less than $2,500) at Hawk Drive.

Aug. 22

10:50 a.m. — John Guitterrez, 33 of Cordova was arrested for possession of marijuana (less than one ounce) at the intersection of 47th Street and Trinity Drive.

3:55 p.m. — Cole McGill, 28, of Los Alamos was arrested through a magistrate court bench warrant at the Los Alamos police station. The original charges were possession of drug paraphernalia on Oct. 24, 2014.

5:51 p.m. — James Salazar, 24, of Chimayó was arrested through a magistrate court bench warrant at the Los Alamos police station.

Aug. 23

12:20 p.m. — Crystal Valdez, 27, of Bosque Farms was arrested for having no car insurance at East Road.

12:20 p.m. — Joseph Lente, 34 of Bosque Farms was arrested for drug paraphernalia at East Road.

10:29 p.m. — Jeremy Martinez, 31, of Embudo was arrested through a district court warrant at the Los Alamos police station. The original charge was kidnapping at Trinity Drive, April 30.

Aug. 24

4:09 a.m. — Police reported that a 49-year-old Los Alamos man was the victim of runaway, family in need of service at Big Rock Loop.

2:49 p.m. — A 75-year-old Los Alamos man reported to police he was the victim of fraud (more than $20,000) at Trinity Drive.

3:06 p.m. — Dawn Mergler, 37, of Santa Cruz was arrested on a misdemeanor warrant from another jurisdiction at East Road and RV Park.

8:06 p.m. — Steven Fode, 26, of Santa Fe was arrested through a district court warrant. The original charges were homicide by vehicle at Central Park Square on July 16, 2014.

Aug. 25

2:36 a.m. — Police reported that a 21-year-old Los Alamos woman was the victim of careless driving at the intersection of 38th Street and Diamond Drive.

4:03 p.m. — Alex Silver, 26, of Los Alamos was arrested through a district court warrant in the 900 block of San Ildefonso Road. The original charge was aggravated assault at San Ildefonso Road July 5.

8:02 p.m. — Aaron Chapman, 33, of Los Alamos was arrested for possession of marijuana (less than one ounce) at the intersection of Alabama Avenue and Diamond Drive.

8:13 p.m. — Nicole White-Chapman, 32, of Dixon was arrested through a magistrate court bench warrant at the intersection of Alabama Avenue and Diamond Drive.

Aug. 26

12:34 a.m. — Todd Maese, 26, of Española was arrested for assault against a household member on 9th Street.

5:30 a.m. — Robert Coyne, 65, of Los Alamos was arrested for negligent use of a deadly weapon in the 2000 block of 43rd Street.

7:32 a.m. — Michael Miller, 19, of Los Alamos, was arrested for graffiti (less than $1,000 damage) on Entrada Drive.
