Sept. 10


10:04 a.m. – Christopher Hernandez, 19, of Jemez Springs was arrested and charged with a violation order of protection at 1903 Central Ave.

Sept. 11
4:53 p.m. – An 88-year-old Los Alamos man reported that he believes his wallet was taken by a young magazine subscription salesman who was allowed inside his home to use the bathroom — a common ruse used by transients claiming to be magazine salesmen. The estimated loss is less than $250.

7:21 p.m. – A 28-year-old Los Alamos man reported that his residence was entered while he was out. Nothing was taken, but some property he did not own was left in the residence.

Sept. 12

2:19 a.m. – Moses Salazar, 24, of Los Alamos was arrested on East Road following a traffic stop for speeding and charged with driving on a suspended or revoked license based on a previous DWI.

Sept. 14

8:24 p.m. – Anthony Brophy, 51, was arrested at 3514 Questa on a Magistrate Court warrant  following an investigation of a report that he had violated the terms of his probation.
Sept. 15

4:30 p.m. – Smith’s Food and Drug Center at 535 Central Ave., reported that two 17-year-old Los Alamos boys left the store with items they did not pay for.

11:47 p.m. – A 42-year-old Los Alamos man reported that an intoxicated man entered his house by mistake. The man realized his error, but was detained by the homeowner until police were called to the scene. No charges were filed.
