June 14

2:51 p.m. ­— A 45-year-old female Los Alamos caller reported cell phone theft. The phone was valued at $252. It was later recovered. Charges are pending.

June 15

1:06 p.m. — The Los Alamos National Laboratory reported that a tire had been stolen off a trailer at Technical Area 60. The estimated loss is $70.

7:48 p.m. — A 51-year-old Los Alamos male reported that he was verbally threatened by another man. No charges were filed.

June 16

11:44 a.m. — Mountain Elementary School reported that a lid to a sandbox had been damaged. The estimated loss is $57.

4:00 p.m. — Desiree Nitz, 22, of Los Alamos, was arrested for battery against a household member,

5:08 p.m. — Michael Hart, 47, of Valier, was arrested for DWI, driving with an open container, concealing his identity, negligent use of a deadly weapon and failure to maintain lane.

June 17

4:23 a.m. — Veronica Johnson, 41, of Cuba was arrested on a Magistrate warrant.

4:49 p.m. — Reid Schneider, 22, of Los Alamos, was arrested for driving a motorcycle on a revoked license.

5:51 p.m. — Krista Wilhelm, 26, of Los Alamos, was arrested for drug paraphernalia possession.

June 18

10:03 p.m. — Theodore Porter, 35, of Houston, was arrested for criminal trespassing at Ashley Hotel and Suites.

June 19

7:48 a.m. — Los Alamos County reported that a pick-up truck carrying a ladder struck an electronic traffic board with the ladder causing $45,000 in damage. The driver of the truck fled the scene. Police are investigating the incident.

7:52 a.m. — A 36-year-old male reported that his vehicle had been broken into while it was parked at his residence. Binoculars, a flashlight and a pocketknife valued at $101 were taken from the vehicle.

1:51 p.m. –—The Los Alamos National Lab reported that a chainsaw valued at $366 was stolen from a storage shed.

7:33 p.m. — Dave Martinez, 40, of Chimayó, was arrested on a Municipal Court Warrant.

8:13 p.m. — William Mullally, 22, of Alcalde, was arrested on a warrant for a felony.

8:13 p.m. — Angela Montoya, 23, of Truchas, was arrested for drug paraphernalia possession.

June 20

1:05 p.m. — James Carpenter, 26, of Los Alamos was arrested for fleeing from officers who were attempting to arrest him on a District Court warrant.
