Jan. 5
9:03 a.m. – A 61-year-old Los Alamos woman reported that someone stole the catalytic converter from her vehicle while it was parked overnight on Iris Street. The estimated loss is less than $2,500.
9:03 a.m. – A 52-year-old Los Alamos man reported that someone stole the catalytic converter from his vehicle while it was parked overnight on Santa Clara Place. The estimated loss is less than $2,500.
12:19 p.m. – A 38-year-old Los Alamos woman reported the fraudulent use of her credit card in Bernalillo and said that she had not been to Bernalillo.
12:45 p.m. – Los Alamos National Laboratory reported that cash and other items were taken from a site on Alvarez Road at TA-53. LANL is conducting an investigation into the theft. The estimated loss is less than $2,500.
2:11 p.m. – The Reel Deal on Central Avenue reported an embezzlement of more than $100.
Jan. 7
11:24 a.m. – Michael Salazar, 36, was arrested during the investigation of a domestic disturbance on Gold Street when it was determined that he had an active warrant from New Mexico State Police out of Espanola.
Jan. 8
1:10 a.m. – Ron Schneider, 19, of Santa Fe was charged with taking funds from an arcade machine and issued a criminal complaint to appear in court. The estimated loss is less than $250.
1:48 a.m. – A 54-year-old Los Alamos man reported that his catalytic converter was stolen from his vehicle while it was parked overnight on 4th Street. The estimated loss is more than $1,000.
8:32 a.m. – A 17-year-old Los Alamos boy, two 16-year-old Los Alamos boys and two 16-year-old Los Alamos girls were charged with possession of drug paraphernalia on West Road and referred to the juvenile probation officer.
9:17 a.m. – A 54-year-old Los Alamos man reported that the catalytic converter was stolen from his vehicle while it was parked overnight on Iris Street. The estimated loss is more than $1,000.
11:59 a.m. – A 46-year-old White Rock man reported that his home was burglarized. The estimated loss is unknown.
Jan. 11
8:30 p.m. – Pamela Chavez, 20, of Los Alamos was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property. The estimated amount is under $2,500.
Jan. 14
5:53 p.m. – Jonathan Lopez, 19, of Santa Cruz was charged with taking personal items from a home as well as the family’s pet and was issued a summons to appear in court.
