Dec. 22

3:05 p.m. – Los Alamos National Laboratory reported the theft of tools and equipment from a locked toolbox on LANL property. The estimated damage is unknown.

3:47 p.m. – Thomas Winfrey, 26, was arrested at 999 Central Ave., on an outstanding federal warrant from another jurisdiction for allegedly assaulting a minor.

Dec. 23

9:13 a.m. – A 66-year-old Los Alamos man reported that the rear windshield of his vehicle was broken by a rock while parked at his residence. The estimated damage is less than $1,000.

Dec. 24

9 a.m. – A 42-year-old Los Alamos woman reported being the victim of battery on Central Avenue. The case is under investigation.
9:28 p.m. – A 65-year-old Los Alamos man reported the theft of Christmas decorations from his yard. The estimated loss is less than $100.
11:33 p.m. – Victor Atencio, 25, was arrested at his place of employment based on an active warrant from Magistrate Court.

Dec. 28

3:21 p.m. – Charles Builta, 38, was arrested and charged with having an open container of alcohol and resisting a police officer following the investigation of a traffic infraction.    

Dec. 29

The University of New Mexico at Los Alamos at 4000 University Dr., reported that someone sprayed graffiti on a college building wall. The estimated damage is unknown.
