Roughly 50-60 people braved blustery winds and shivering temperatures to take part in the Easter Sunrise Service Sunday morning at Ashley Pond.
The services included musical accompaniment of Quemazon Brass, along with the occasional honking of nearby geese who reside at the pond.
High winds are expected to kick up again later in the day Monday. The National Weather service has issued a Wind Advisory for the area from noon to 9 p.m. See related story here.
