Daniel Trugman, a 2009 graduate of Los Alamos High School, received a Bachelor of Science degree in geophysics with distinction, departmental honors, and a physics minor from Stanford University on June 16. Trugman was awarded three University-wide honors: the Firestone Medal for Excellence in Undergraduate Research, the David M. Kennedy Honors Thesis Prize for top Honors Thesis in the Natural Sciences and the Hoefer Prize for Writing in the Major. He was also a recipient of the 2013 School of Earth Sciences Dean’s Award for Undergraduate Academic Achievement.

Navy Ensign Eric C. Mosher, son of Diana M. Esch-Mosher and John C. Mosher, of Los Alamos, recently graduated from the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md., and was commissioned to his current rank. 

Mosher successfully completed four years of intensive academic, physical and professional training. As a graduate of the Naval Academy, Mosher completed a four-year, total-immersion program where a strong, balanced academic program focused on the educational needs of the Navy and Marine Corps, is superimposed on a strict, professional military training environment emphasizing the development of leadership skills. 

Mosher is a 2009 graduate of Los Alamos High School.
