Eric Edelmann, this month’s Rotary Student of the Month, is a senior at Los Alamos High School. During the Rotary ceremony, he named Diane Toups, a guidance counselor at the high school, as an adult who’s had an impact on him.
He is highly active in the community, as president of the Natural Helpers Club and a leader among his peers, as a member of both the Los Alamos Youth Leadership and the high school student government.
He is also an athlete as part of the high school’s cross country team and varsity tennis team. In the coming months, he hopes to find out more from the universities he has applied to and move on to study physics or engineering.
