Adam Nekimken, a resident of Los Alamos, has earned placement on the Gonzaga University president’s list for fall semester 2012. Students must earn a 3.7 to 4.0 grade-point average to be listed.
Gonzaga University is a humanistic, private Catholic University providing a Jesuit education to more than 7,500 students.
First National Bank of Santa Fe announces the promotion of Becky Farnham, senior mortgage loan originator, to vice president. Farnham has been a mortgage loan originator at First National Bank of Santa Fe for 11 years.
She has lived and worked in Northern New Mexico for more than 37 years and has more than 24 years of financial and mortgage lending experience. She has designed, built and remodeled several homes over the past 18 years. Farnham is known for her customer service and responsiveness and works from application to closing.
Christina Dey, daughter of Thomas Dey and Denise Dey of Los Alamos, graduated with a degree in journalism from Ithaca College’s Roy H. Park School of Communications. The degree was awarded in December 2012.

Mei Liu of Los Alamos, was named to the honor list of Oxford College, the two-year liberal arts division of Emory University located in Oxford, Ga., for the 2012 fall semester.
Students must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher to be named to the Honor List.
