Erin Dinehart, a junior from Los Alamos, is spending the spring semester studying abroad at the University of Dallas’ 12-acre Eugene Constantin Campus just outside Rome, Italy.
Since 1970, University of Dallas students have had the opportunity — usually in their sophomore years — to spend a semester in The Eternal City studying, traveling and experiencing the art, architecture, literature, philosophy and deeds that form the basis of Western civilization.

Nicole Silks of Los Alamos has been placed on the Gettysburg College Dean’s Commendation List for outstanding academic achievement in the fall 2011.

Jenny Lauren Tumas of Los Alamos has been named to the President’s List at Clemson University for the fall 2011 semester. Tumas is majoring in communication studies. To be named to the President’s List, a student must achieve a 4.0 grade-point average.

Meghan Montoya of Los Alamos was recently named to the dean’s list at the College of William and Mary for the spring 2011 semester. The College of William and Mary is located in Williamsburg, Va.

Jonathan Vander Wiel of Los Alamos was named to the LeTourneau University dean’s list for the Fall 2011 semester.
Vander Wiel achieved a grade point average between 3.50 and 3.99 for the semester. LeTourneau University is located in Longview, Texas.

Los Alamos student Cody Stewart has been honored at Lipscomb University for academic achievement during the fall semester 2011. Stewart, a pre-nursing major, has been placed on the provost’s list. Lipscomb University is located in Nashville, Tenn.
