The names of more than 1,440 candidates for degrees for the fall 2012 semester at the University of Kansas have been announced by the Office of the University Registrar, including Matthew DeVore, of Los Alamos.
He received a doctorate in chemistry.
Graduate and undergraduate degrees are conferred in December based on work completed during the fall semester.
Jenny Lauren Tumas of Los Alamos has been named to the president’s List at Clemson University for the fall 2012 semester.
Tumas is majoring in communication studies.
To be named to the president’s List, a student must achieve a 4.0 grade-point average. Ranked No. 25 among national public universities, Clemson University is a major, land grant, science- and engineering-oriented research university that maintains a strong commitment to teaching and student success.
