Colleagues of longtime laboratory employee Jack Shlachter congregated at the Physics Auditorium Wednesday afternoon to honor – and occasionally roast – their division leader.Shlachter is retiring the helm of P-division in order to head to Vienna to work for the Preparatory Commission for the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO).
