The Española Public Library is holding a gift-making workshop for children ages 3-17 from 9 a.m.-noon Thurssday. Gift include a holiday card, chocolate spoon, trinket box, photo ornament and a miniature cookie tin with homemade cookies. Elves wishing to participate in the cookie-baking workshop should bring an empty Altoid or similar tin. All other supplies will be provided.  The workshop is free but registration is required due to limited supplies. The Young Natives Arts and Crafts Sale will be from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Palace of the Govenors in Santa Fe. Children of artisans who display through work under the Palace Portal offer their own handcrafted goods for sale in the John Gaw Meem Room. For more information visit www.nmhistoryuseum.org.
