Arts and crafts fair

The Zia Arts, Crafts and Gifts Festival will be Nov. 18-20. Show hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday; 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday; and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday. The New Mexico History Museum Palace of the Governors presents, “Heart of the Home,” through Nov. 27; “Illuminating the Word: Saint John’s Bible,” through April 7, 2012; “Contemplative Landscape,” through Dec. 31, 2012; “The Letter, the Word and the Book,” through April 15, 2012. The museum is located at 113 Lincoln Ave., Santa Fe.

For the first time in more than 30 years, the Museum of Indian Arts and Culture opens a major exhibition of North American Indian baskets on Nov. 18. The exhibit will run through May 1.
