Art receptions

“Slow Clay” by Willi Singleton, Susan Linnell and Myo On will open with a reception from 5-8:30 p.m. March 4 at Weyrich Gallery/The Rare Vision Art Galerie, 2935 D Louisiana Blvd. NE, Albuquerque.

A First Saturday reception will be from 3-5 p.m. at Johnsons of Madrid, 2843 Highway 14 N., Madrid. For more information call 471-1054.

Talks

Join El Rancho de las Golondrinas for free lectures today and March 31. The talks are presented at 7 p.m. at the Santuario de Guadalupe in downtown Santa Fe. Call 471-2261 for more information.

The Friends of Las Vegas National Wildlife Refuge will host a an interpretive talk at 1 p.m. March 6 at the Las Vegas National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center. Highway 281, east of Las Vegas, N.M. For more information call Linda Kelly at 454-9452 or Jan Arrott at 454-6115.

Performances

Santa Fe New Music presents David Lang’s “The Little Match Girl Passion,” at 8 p.m. Friday at the Unitarian Universalist Church, 107 W. Barcelona Road, Santa Fe. Tickets are $20 and available at the door. For more information call 474-6601.

Comedian Lewis Black will perform at 8 p.m. Saturday at Legends Theater at Route 66 Casino. Tickets, $35-$70, are available at www.rt66casino.com/.
