Dear Editor,
This past weekend, the Los Alamos High School Olions Thespian Club gave five performances of the musical, “Little Shop of Horrors,” directed by Nina Saunders.
That our high school has many very talented teenagers was clearly demonstrated in this musical. We can be proud of these students who worked long hours over the last two months both on and off the stage.
The bad news is that the five performances were poorly attended. It must have been disheartening for these students to have worked so hard and had such little response from the community.
The good news is that there will be one more performance, at 7 p.m. Saturday. Come on, Los Alamos. Let’s support our teenagers. We need to let them know that we are proud of them when they do something positive and of value. Let’s fill up the Duane W. Smith Auditorium!
