NNSA names new Los Alamos Site Office Manager

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) today announced the selection of Kevin W. Smith as the new Los Alamos Site Office Manager.

“It is a pleasure to welcome and congratulate Kevin as he begins his tenure as the new manager of the Los Alamos Site Office,” said Brig. Gen. Garrett Harencak, NNSA Principal Assistant Deputy Administrator for Military Application. “Kevin brings a tremendous wealth of knowledge to the NNSA Los Alamos Site Office, and we look forward to working with him as Los Alamos National Laboratory continues to develop and apply the best science and technology to meet NNSA’s core missions and national security needs.”   The NNSA Los Alamos Site Office is responsible for administering the management and operations contract for Los Alamos National Laboratory as well as managing federal activities at the laboratory.   Watch the Los Alamos Monitor for more on this developing story.
