NNSA honors two with Los Alamos ties

The National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Defense Programs announced the recipients of the Employee of the Quarter Awards Wednesday and two employees with Los Alamos ties earned recognition.
The awards recognize individuals who have gone beyond the call of duty in supporting the mission of NNSA’s Defense Programs.
Barbara Romero, Los Alamos Site Office, is recognized for her support of Work for Others, Inter-Agency Agreements, Inter-Entity Work Orders, and Cooperative Research and Development Agreements resulting in unprecedented approval and compliance management of these programs.
Robert “Bob” Travis, Los Alamos National Laboratory, is recognized for his efforts to lead the successful LANL SM30 Warehouse operations for more than 365 days without an on-site reportable injury, while at the same time assuring the level of customer satisfaction that the institution has come to expect.
