All summer long, the construction crews have inconvenienced the traffic on Barranca Road to install new curbs and sidewalks. Now they have collected the traffic-hindering pilons and appear to have completed the job. Except, the new curbs look worse than the old ones!
The side of the curb that faces the street is badly defaced with tire marks over at least 50 percent of the stretch along Barranca Road. These are clearly scratchmarks from the construction vehicles that must have been grazing along the curb after it was already finished. I hope the county will call the contractor back to correct this mess before he might claim the marks could also stem from the regular traffic on the street.
