ALBUQUERQUE — The 20th annual Carrie Tingley Hospital Foundation’s Mudd Volleyball Tournament will feature a new Team Fundraising Challenge in which teams compete against one another to raise the most money.
The money raised is in addition to team registration fees. The Mudd Volleyball Tournament takes place June 7 in Albuquerque.
“For the past 20 years, New Mexicans from around the state have set, spiked and bumped their way through the mud at the Carrie Tingley Hospital Foundation’s annual Mudd Volleyball tournaments, to benefit children with special needs and their families,” said executive director Jeff Hoehn. “The Team Fundraising Challenge is just one more way our generous teams can help improve the lives of New Mexico’s kids with special needs. The money raised through Mudd Volleyball goes right back into communities across New Mexico.”
The winner of the Team Fundraising challenge will be provided with lunch, VIP parking passes, a recognition banner, an upgraded tent package at the 2015 Mudd Volleyball Tournament and a host of other valuable prizes.
Teams who participate in the challenge are required to establish a monetary goal by May 30, which the team captain should include on the registration form.
