The M.G. Franklin E. Miles Chapter 229 of the Military Order of World Wars in Los Alamos announces that Todd Urbatsch of the Los Alamos National Laboratory’s Computational Physics Group will present a talk on Bengt Carlson and his involvement with the supercomputers at LANL and his famous apple wine.
The meeting will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Best Western Hilltop House, third floor and will begin with a short social period and business meeting, followed by dinner. Urbatsch’s talk will begin at about 7:15 p.m. The dinner entrée will be chicken cacciatore, served with a dinner salad and garlic roll. The cost of the dinner is $20 per person.
The Military Order of the World Wars dinner meetings are open to the general public for the dinner and program, or the program only at no cost. Please note that a dinner reservation made is a commitment to the chapter to pay for the reserved dinner.
