MONTOYA – Angelo Wayne Montoya, 26, a resident of Albuquerque and originally of Santa Cruz, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 23, 2008. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Trinidad Montoya and maternal grandfather, Ben Valdez.
Angelo was self-employed as an electrician while a student at UNM. He was a 2000 graduate of Los Alamos High School. Angelo is survived by his father, Wayne C. Montoya of Santa Cruz; mother, Prescilla Montoya of Santa Cruz; paternal grandmother, Flora Montoya of Chimayo; maternal grandmother, Lorraine Valdez of Lyden; aunts and uncles, Joe Montoya of Chimayo, Perry Montoya of Phoenix, Waldo Montoya and wife Emily of Chimayo, Jimmy Montoya and wife Pam of San Pedro, Sandra Martinez and husband Robert of Chimayo, Phillip Valdez and wife JoAnn of Velarde, Leland Valdez of Lyden and Evelyn Esquibel and husband Juan of Los Luceros; God-parents, Grace and Eddie Trujillo of Española and numerous cousins and other loving relatives and friends.
